Cristian M. Thomae, M.D. began practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Augusta area in 1990 and was also one of the original founders of Augusta Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, LLC in 2002. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Thomae received his B.S. from George Mason University, his medical degree from The Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency from the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Thomae was honored in 2008 and 2009 as a Patient's Choice physician, an honor bestowed on less than 5% of the nations active physicians. He and his wife, Tracie, reside in Grovetown and he has four sons and two daughters.
