Augusta Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists, LLC offers a full range of gynecological care for women of all ages – from adolescence through menopause and beyond. The physician and staff at AOGS will take the time to listen to your concerns so that we can understand and address your needs. In addition to annual well-woman check-ups, a full range of services is offered with an emphasis on preventative healthcare and education. Treatment of hormonal problems such as PMS and abnormal bleeding; screening and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, treatment and follow-up care for abnormal pap smears, replacement therapy; diagnosis and treatment of fibroids, cystocele, rectocele, uterine prolapse, polyps, and other gynecological conditions; family planning and preconception counseling; and diagnosis and treatment of infertility are all within our scope of service and expertise.
We encourage you to have your well-woman check-up and mammogram annually.
When surgery is contemplated, we take time to explain your diagnosis and the potential risks and benefits associated with the procedure. We also discuss possible alternative treatment options, as well as our own recommendations. Along with you, we will make a decision on how to proceed.
